Is it really free?
Yes! You really do get up to 4 receivers (3 for direct tv offer) and a satellite dish installed for free. The plan will probably require you to make a one year commitment to pay your monthly programming charges automatically using your credit card. Check with individual service provider for details

How many receivers can I have on one account ?
You can have more than 3 or 4 satellite tv receivers that are offered free. First 3 or 4 receivers (depending on the provider) are provided and installed free. You must pay for extra receivers and their installation. Dish Network provides you first four for free. If you need a fifth or sixth receiver, you must pay $99.99 each for the extra receivers. Installation of each extra receiver will cost $59.99. You will still only pay us $49.99 today to get set up. You will pay Dish Network directly at a later time for your additional receivers. These prices may differ with different providers and can change from time to time. You should check with the provider at the time you order.

Can I install the satellite dish inside my house ?
In order to receive the signal, the dish must have a direct line of sight to in a particular direction. However, many types of window glass degrade the satellite signal. Therefore, we strongly recommend that you install your satellite dish outside in a suitable location.

What kind of locks and controls (parental control) does the satellite dish system offer ?
All satellite tv system providers offer some kind of locks & limits feature that is built into the system. This features lets you restrict access to movies based on the motion picture rating system, pay per view spending limits, and block the viewing of entire channels. This is a great feature for parents who wish to control what their children watch on Satellite dish programming.

I have two receivers. Can I order pay per view movie on one and watch it on both ?
No. Each pay per view order is specific to the receiver on which it is ordered. When you place a pay per view order, the receiver on which you placed the order begins displaying the signal, "authorizes you for the purchase" and stores the record of your purchase on the access card in the receiver.

Can I substitute one channel for another in my programming package ?
Allowing customers to substitute channels would have the adverse effect and would result in increase in programming prices both for overall programming and for a la carte stations. To avoid this dish network does not allow any substitutions. Direct TV however does offer some select a la carte channels. You should however check with provider as these offers may change from time to time.

What about International Programming?
Different providers offer many International Programming packages. However, you would need to have a second Dish installed in addition to your main system because the International Programming is delivered from a different satellite in the sky.

What if I move before my one year commitment is up?
No problem!! Both Dish Network and Direct TV will reinstall your system at your new residence for FREE or a nominal fee so long as you commit to a new 12 month period of a specific programming package. Check with the provider for details.
